[@ADamnFiddle] Yeep, I guess you can say that they played them...like a damn fiddle. Though really, Berserker in general should be like the hardest class to win the HGW just because how much Master-Servant's communication ended up being important in most wars. Caster honestly have little chance to win too since the main targets of the war have MR of varying degrees, requiring more clever maneuvers although thankfully most Casters are capable of that. Assassin is pretty bad tho, since they're usually summoned as one-trick ponies, and assassinating a bunch of masters that have planned for the war for decades aren't just going to work easily. Even counting /GO originals, the best assassins are ones that aren't really Assassins. Like Shuten. Rider has it a lot better due to having good class passives even if at lower rank compared to >sabers, but they usually compensate it with impressive array of NPs. So yeah, HGW is totally rigged and it's pretty fun how subsequent TM works bar extra I think still has the rigged template for the war.
Berserkers can work out, but honestly losing mental and cognitive abilities for stat increases when in reality it is the noble phantasm that is the most important in a battle between servants is kinda dumb. Which is why E or EX ranked Mad Enhancement is the way to go if you want to apply a Servant. That and the drain on power is kinda "plz help me". And there are a few ways you can completely bypass magic resist with certain casters if you play your cards right. Assassins also have the issue of, in a standard HGW, having to be Hassans unless you know the work around to summon non Hassan-based Hashinshin. Riders are actually as good as the knight classes since most knights were also riders and you could just use them in this way.
