While werewolves are known to be quick to anger, Caius is remarkably calm and patient both in wolf and in human form. He does, however, exhibit a very explosive anger when provoked. And when angered, he is quick, decisive and extremely brutal. He is very protective of his twin sister, Claudia, and would go to all lengths to protect her. 

While vampires are a natural enemy, he sees this rule with a grain of salt. As long as they do not harm him and those he consider as friend or family, then he leaves them alone. However, in wolf form, his rational and considerate way of looking at vampires becomes a little harder to uphold. 

[color=turquoise][b]History:[/b][/color] 
Orphaned at a young age, he and his twin sister were adopted by a human family. As a child, he was silent and thoughtful and often said things that were wise for his age. A close friend of the family once remarked that Caius had a very old soul when she looked deep into his eyes. Thinking it to be just the ramblings of an old lady, he pushed it out of his mind. 

His first transformation happened on the full moon of his 13th birthday. Somehow sensing it before it happened, he had taken his sister deep into the forest where both of them underwent their painful transformation from human to wolf. Not being able to control his feral instincts and blinded by pain, he attacked Claudia until he heard her thoughts in his head. It had been an odd experience to be able to hear each other's thoughts but it was something he thought convenient. At first, he struggled to control the raw power ushered in by the light of the full moon but learned to control it in a matter of hours. 

As the moon receded into the horizon, the twins transformed back into their human forms. But because of the fear of putting their adoptive family in danger, both decided it best to leave and seek out those similar to them, if they existed. They eventually found Crimson Keeper, a pack of 10 wolves tasked to keep a watchful eye on the vampires and making sure that they do not pose a threat to both werewolves and humans. Strangely enough, the pack welcomed them with reverence, something that Caius still wonders about until the present. He had time and again asked Darric, the pack leader, about it but he always replied that things will reveal themselves at the right opportune moment.

Claudia is the exact opposite of Caius. She is quick to anger and impatient and would sometimes rile Caius. She doesn't understand how her twin brother could be so calm in situations that enrages her. But despite the difference in opinion and demeanor, she dotes on her brother and would always do as he commands even if she doesn't agree with him. She would go to all lengths to protect him. 

She sees vampires as enemies and would not hesitate to attack especially in wolf form.

Claudia thought the remark silly and immediately pushed it out of her head.

She sensed something big was about to happen but before she could try to make sense of it, Caius had already dragged her off into the forest without their parents' knowledge. There she transformed into a wolf and the experience had been excruciatingly painful. The pain had not yet abated when Caius attacked her. Not realizing it was her brother, she fought back until she heard his voice echo in her head. The experience exhilarated her and she couldn't stop yapping away until Caius eventually shushed her. At first, she struggled to control the raw power that suddenly filled her but with Caius' calm voice in her head, she was able to bring her new form under control.

As the moon receded into the horizon, the twins transformed back into their human forms. She didn't want to leave their family behind but agreed with her brother that they might end up hurting the humans. She grudgingly embarked on a journey to find those similar to them. Soon, they found the pack named Crimson Keeper. She stepped into their circle after Caius and was surprised that the wolves lowered their heads at both of them in a respectful manner. Figuring that it was their way of welcoming newcomers, she had bowed at each of them back and then promptly forgot about all of it.
