Is the world we are in the same as our own, or in a different one?  You mention royals, so if I wanted to be 'Lady yadadada' then would if have to be of England or something?  Is the world modern, or set in a more medieval esque setting?  Or are we just doing a non-sensical mashup of everything where everything goes and we simply suspend disbelief (So seeing the son of a CEO and the daughter of a fairy princess together would be considered normal)?
