Leisy Takigawa
Feyhollow Town Leisy’s eyes widened when Vivian declared her challenge. Recovering her wits, she followed Ella into the forest behind the vanished trainer ahead of them. The woods were darker than they’d been when Leisy was returning to Feyhollow town earlier after just catching Devinco, the Larvitar running alongside her, and they seemed more ominous and foreboding as well. The moonlight cast down shadows that whispered over Ella running in front of her, and in the blink of an eye the girl in front of her had vanished into the tangled branches and bark. “Ella?” Leisy asked, slowing from her fast-paced run to a slow jog. Looking down, Leisy was relieved to see that Devinco was still at her side. However, the same could not be said for the two other trainers Leisy had agreed to journey with. “Ella! Vivian!” Leisy called, peering through the darkness. She moved forward slowly but steadily, uncertain as to which way she was going now. Earlier, she’d chosen to walk on the main path through the forest, only straying a little at a time. A scream that tore through the night air caused Leisy to break into a run again, looking around for the person who had signaled for help. Suddenly Devinco let out a warning growl, headbutting his trainer to the side just as her foot met air in front of her. The pair landed on the ground, Leisy wincing at the impact but sanding and dusting herself off. “Thanks, Devi,” Leisy said before looking in front of him into the pit to see none other than Vivian. “Vivian!”

Shanae Eller
Central City Shanae had started her journey when she turned eighteen—a little later than most full-time trainers, but the argument could be made that she wasn’t a trainer full-time. After promising her family she’d join their ranks in the Poke Corp, Shanae had spent a year on the road with just a Pokedex and a belt of Pokeballs to her name, battling and training her Pokemon after she’d caught her original three: Ebon, her Houndour; Turris, her Aaron; and Dius, her Trapinch. Of course, her winning streak wasn’t about to keep up forever, and soon enough she’d suffered her first loss. With that defeat, however, came Amatorius, her Igglybuff—a gift, almost. A gift for a lost battle, because “those who lose always win something.” From that day forward Shanae stopped focusing on battles and focused on bonding with her Pokemon and other trainers instead. She’d met many a trainer and Pokemon in her travels, and every single on reinforced the values the stranger had passed on to her.
// Leisy (HHG): +1TP [@luckyblackcat][@dark light]
