STATUS: CLOSED (for the time being) Daisy here! I'm sure you're eager to find what you're looking for and move on, so I'll keep the introduction short. I'm working full time, pursuing a bachelor's degree, running two table-top games in my spare time, and I roleplay here as well. With the busiest time of year for my work already past [s]and the holidays coming up[/s], I'll have more free time than usual, which means more room for roleplays! Yay! Ideally, I'd like to find another partner I can roleplay with long-term, so I don't have to hunt down a new one anytime the RP ends. =P There are a few things you should be aware of: RULES AND DISCLAIMERS - While I can typically post a few times a week, I make no promises on posting frequency. It's a symptom of my current job responsibilities. If I must disappear for a few days at a time, I'll do my best to notify you of when I will be dropping off the face of planet and for how long I will be lost in the unexplored depths of time and space. Typically, I have advanced notice of this sort of thing, so it shouldn't be much of an issue. - I may be slow to respond sometimes, but please don't mistake that for disinterest. If I commit to a roleplay, I won't abandon it until everyone else gives up on it. - Please communicate with me, especially if there's problem. It doesn't matter what it is. If you want to try something else or you're not having fun or you're going on hiatus for awhile, just say so. It won't hurt my feelings. You don't even have to explain yourself, unless you really want to. Shit happens. I get it. - I am incredibly patient, and I'll work with you as much as possible to make sure we're both having fun with the story. If there's anything you want or don't want to do, be sure to mention it. We'll work something out. - I am an advanced writer, but I'm not going to pad my own post with unnecessary fluff to meet an arbitrary length requirement. Whether it's one paragraph or ten, I'll write however much I feel is appropriate for a given scene. - I have no gender preference or restrictions. - Any rule of the forums is a rule of mine. You know the drill. - I do not care if a roleplay has mature content or not. Whether or not it is explored within the context of a story is a matter for private discussion. - Because of legal liabilities, if you are under the age of consent (usually 18), be honest and tell me this upfront, so I know what to avoid. See? That wasn't so bad. I typically prefer original content over fandoms, but I can be convinced to play anything as long as the story is compelling enough. If you're trying to figure out whether or not we have some common ground, here's a convenient list of stuff I like: GENRES Adventure Fantasy ** Sci-Fi Historical Drama Romance Mystery/Suspense Slice of Life Supernatural (Traditional Folklore <3) ** FANDOMS Avatar (The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra) Elder Scrolls Firefly Full Metal Alchemist Ghost in the Shell Golden Sun Hataraku Maou-sama! Hellsing Inuyasha ** Log Horizon Pathfinder ** Planescape Romance of the Three Kingdoms Spice & Wolf Star Wars Ilona Andrews (Kate Daniels series, The Edge, etc) Holly Black (Curseworkers series, etc) Jules Verne (Anything) Collaborating to create new plots and characters from scratch is what I enjoy the most, but I do have ideas for some of these genres and fandoms (noted by **). For me, brainstorming with other people is half the fun. Even if you want to try something that isn't listed, run it by me. I'm fairly open. Please send a PM for any inquiry, as I check my inbox more frequently that I do my threads.
