You know how Phoenix Wright is the most Japanesey America that could be conceived? RWBY is kind of like that in reverse. It's like what I would imagine anime to be after listening to my Asian friends talk about it for a long while. It just sort of thinks it's real anime while all the actual animes are laughing behind its back.
