[@Hyper Harlequin] Well, I don't think we actually have a legit protagonist, but if this was a TV show, I think she'd be the clear favorite. I like the idea that they don't have any particular concrete way of reproduction and, if your going with the mating dance thing we talked about, that if they simply don't find anyone they ever connect with, never choose a partner I mean, they reproduce asexually and basically do a phoenix thing. Their biological clone then begins life anew, grows up, and upon reaching maturity continues looking for a partner. Kinda like Buddhists with reincarnation, except rather than enlightenment they're looking for a partner to create new life with, and that's basically their escape from the lifecycle. 

Also, on double dollars; that obviously doesn't have to be a thing, I just didn't know what the currency was properly called, so I went with that.
