No she really can't. Leaving aside the issues of her temperament that basically ensure no student (except I think Diamond) will ever come to her with their problems being a school counselor is a full time job. You basically have to look after the mental welfare of 200+ students, keep an eye out for warning signs that's something is wrong. I'm not sure how it works in college (though being a hunter's school I would image mental welfare to be at least a little important) but in high school there were three different student counselors who did a hell of a lot of work. Realistically they don't have time to be doing that as well as assisting with lesson plans.
