Oh um [@dark light] I don't believe that Pokemon can level up by defeating wild Pokemon... Only from monthly bonuses, battling other trainers, or by consuming items. This is mostly a regulatory thing as having users be able to level up their Pokemon all by themselves within a single post would be pretty OP before long.
