Though she is also seen at times to show a vast amount of not only social conscience, but also social tenacity and compassion; Megara's strong emphasis on logic has more times than not made her quite skeptical about accepting almost anything without being presented with any sort of rational proof or hard and physical evidence; nevertheless, as the years have passed her by and she has seen and learnt more about the world, she has become slightly more willing to accept things as they are, and is willing to also come to intuitive conclusions. Though showing quite a high sense of responsibility, and a very low sense of remorse for the actions of her past, Megara rarely ever regrets any of the choices that she has made which have led her to where it is that she stands in the present- the free-spirited young woman usually always seen to be full of life, occasionally coming across to those around her as sharp of tongue, and exceedingly quick-witted; her light cynicism and on the rare occasion, snarky attitude oftentimes leaving her to be the voice of reason among her more impulsive friends, to varying level of success. Nevertheless, in spite of her straitlaced disposition, Megara is not above using coercion and threats to get just what it is that she wants; the woman learning at a very young age that she needs to be unafraid to stand up to not only her enemies, but also to those that she calls and considers to be her friends, especially when she truly believes that it is in their best interests or when she feels in her heart that they are in the wrong- however, it is shown that she can also be extremely cruel and harsh towards those that cross her, or those of whom she dislikes; her determination and focus showing that she can become absolutely relentless, the woman herself not above taking revenge on those who have wronged her in the past- whether it be casting a simple hex, or something more permanent such as taking a life. Because of her overly opinionated and oftentimes interfering nature; Megara in her younger years held fast to her status of being quite the bossy know-it-all, her sometimes abrasive attitude, masked with her many deep insecurities and her strong fear of failure, causing her most times feel the need that she had to prove herself to those who were around her- however this is partly because of the many people who look down upon her due to the reputation that followed her from when she used to run with her best friends, Lock and Barrel, under the ever watchful eye of Oogie Boogie. Nevertheless, Megara never truly let anyone use her past life as a means to bully or belittle her, and never had any issues when it came to both ignoring and standing up to bigots such as Kalabar Jr. and the Sinister sisters; and despite her strong confidence in her abilities, she is rarely ever shown to be arrogant or conceited; and although she is not seen to be as short-tempered as her friends, she is quick to get annoyed and frustrated- never once backing down from an argument, a trait that has been exceedingly evident even during her time spent as a child in Halloween World. - [i]She was extremely loyal to her friends, risking her life frequently to help them and standing by Harry even when no one else did. She also gave them advice rather often. Hermione was quite blunt with her opinions, sometimes to the point of being tactless. Despite this, Hermione was generally sensitive to others' emotions, and would lie when she had to, she was also good at lying and capable of being opaque when necessary. Ginny was popular during their time at Hogwarts, and was fancied by numerous boys. Her brothers: Fred, George, and Ron, often thought that she was too popular for her own good. She was also known to be funny, and could often make others laugh even when they were feeling down. During the first meeting of what would become the D.A. in the Hog's Head, she coughed exactly like Professor Umbridge, scaring those gathered into believing the real Umbridge had caught them.[8] Her acting talents were put to good use later when Harry and Hermione broke into Umbridge's office to contact Sirius through the fireplace. Meg is also slightly hurt due to having her heart broken by her boyfriend in the past. She has a very low opinion of men in general, since her experiences with them have been mostly negative. Hermione demonstrated her bravery many times when facing danger, though she initially showed a tendency toward mild panic in the sudden situations Ginny also had a knack for imitating the mannerisms of others very accurately, much to the amusement of those around her, as she managed to mimic Dolores Umbridge's signature fake cough.
