Rachel ran as fast as she could scattering all the weird manifestations that presented themselves to her or around her. She moved like a whirlwind her speed poured  on in random bursts and changes of direction because whoever was doing all this mustn't be given a chance to focus on her long enough to warp her local reality or hypnotize her. It was a poor explanation of what might be the cause of all of the things around her but it was the best she could come up with at the moment and she was going to go with it.  
Soon she came upon the sight of her new teammate Drake being attacked by a strange looking man with a bat wrapped in barbed wire which was something she was loathe to allow so she committed herself to action by picking up everything small enough to throw and flinging them at the attacker. Rachel didn’t know how this power worked but she was hoping that it required concentration and if she could blow it for the assailant she stood a good chance of helping her team achieve victory.
