Currently, she works as the resident manager in the university and seemed to have been contented with her job. She was in a happy albeit emotionally co-dependent relationship with a frequent visitor and best friend of some of the residents there, a photographer with the same name she had in one of her past lives: Seo Jin. He wasn't the first person she loved, but he was the first man she loved [i]and[/i] trusted deeply that she revealed her secret to him. He was shocked and in disbelief at first, but later kept an open mind and resolved that it doesn't really bother him, as long as it doesn't bother her. They were already arranged and ready to get hitched, until the unfortunate accident happened and Seo Jin died in a car crash. Kaname, unable to deal with it, focused her way of coping with the grief by instead acting as the steady rock to those who mourn for her fiancee, and hasn't given herself a moment to feel the pain and mourn. She refuses to.

She's focusing on the mourning best friends of Seo Jin under her care, and seems to be looking after them to an extent that's more like an actual guardian than a dorm mother.

After some incidents that have happened that involved her being blinded by Jon Lytton in her past lives and resulting a rather vicious although brief phase during her following reincarnations, Korinna wants to hide her secret as much as possible and even outright deny it, although she often ends up not doing the latter.

She's a nurturing and motherly person, sometimes overbearing and definitely talks too much, and always attempts to be the reliable one in a situation to an unhealthy degree. Living so many lives and suffering through some of them changed her in so many ways, for better or for worse. Despite trying to be the kindest person she can be, she's prone to go for extreme and shady measures that she appears to be, and can muster up a level of detachment that could only be gotten from being desentisized to the horrors of time she has experienced. However, although aware of how much a bitch fate can be, she tries to have a more positive outlook in life.

¤ She holds some resentment on few of her past lives. She doesn't want to remember any of her past lives from the 14th to 19th century, which were times wherein she kind of snapped and stopped caring, just being very angry and vindictive, although she has somehow cooled down before the start of the 20th century and somewhat came back to herself.

¤ She keeps a stack of journals on her office, which details the life of her past reincarnations.

¤ She's mostly almost a parental figure to most of the university residents, and is even quite close friends with some of them. After the death of her fiancee, her attachment to them grows.

¤ She wants to distance herself from the whole Guardians and vampires and witches business, but knows that it's easier said than done. Doesn't stop her from trying though.

¤ Despite wanting an out and just live her lives, Korinna still attempts to look out for the other five and tries to be at least in amicable terms with them.
