In the beginning there was nothing save for the mingling unconsciousness of nonexistent gods. However the yawning abyss of existence had become boring and the slumbering gods began to awaken. The first of these awakenings was a brilliant affair, a being willing itself into existence in an explosion of lights and color. This being knew only a few things upon his awakening. The first was that his name was Manus and that more like him would soon arrive. Secondly, he really liked the lights he had made. Enraptured with their dazzling lights, Manus willed more to appear and watched delightedly as they began to pour out of each other. The lights smashed into one another, forming dust and yet more lights before they all began to close back in on each other and forming a silhouette made of stardust and clouds. At the sight of what he could do, Manus could do nothing but be struck in awe. He really liked these colors.
