At the time that Apryl and Maverick met they were just mortal and warlock. Something that the council frowned upon die to the Vervain bloodline's purity skidding down hill. The woman loved the man so much that she made a pact with a low level demon, not aware that she had conceived a child. The demon wanted a way out of Hell, even though he wasn't able to make a pact with a mortal due to driving them mad with power.

When the witch council found out that the woman had became apart of their world and pregnant worth a pure blood they were overjoyed. This was short lived when Maverick's sister Tina had decided to stray away from the darker path that their magic provided. Hence breaking the chain of the loyal followers that the family was. Satan found out about the betrayal and placed a cures upon the family line. The magic would skip a generation, which limited lighter magic. There would be one forbidden word that would cause distruction and chaos. The last condition is that Wiccans would have a harder time giving birth.

At the age of Angel noticed a change inside her mother. Something unnatural and dark causing alarm bells to go off in her head. When her brother asked if their mother was alright the response he would get was 'yes, mommy is alright Calvin. She's just making a protection spell right now.' When the woman's actions escalated the sister would play a game of hide and seek to protect the mortal. On the night of the witch's parent's anniversary tragedy struck their house hold. Her mother come after the child, fireball in hand and standing over her daughter, until her father saved her by killing the woman he loved.

Angel was separated from her father and brother after that since she was born in both worlds. Armed guards would stand in front of the house the girl was at either pointing them at people passing by or the witCh herself. Eventally she was released back out in the world at the age of 18. Since then the girl has been walking the line. Killing those who threaten her family, lover, and friends.
