Walter pushed himself up, still beat from the battle with Penelope and carrying Hachi away from the battle. After some things happened that I don't have time to explain, Connor left the jet in his Iron Man suit (at least I assume that's what he did, I just skimmed) and said he needed someone to make sure the jet stayed on course.
