Boss_Dude, there are many other races, including Orcs, Fairies, Dwarves, Centaurs... Most of them live under the Empire of Alagora, trough there are a few with their own lands and nations (for example Dwarves and Centaurs).

Assallya, yes most of the character will be such adventurers seeking the Well.
As for what they know about it is that it stands somewhere north from Lacremia Mountains and the it grants any wish, or at least the legends say so. So most of your characters will be having some wish they wanted granted. Please not that they will be mostly from countries still in the late medieval/early new age stage of development when superstition and legends were important and were considered almost true. Heck, even today thousands of people travel to Holy Places in search of cure for illnesses, success in life and so on.
Trough some might just be explorers wishing just to explore the lands and map them or those rare long-term adventurers/travelers which just journey for the sake of the journey.
