I'm. assuming 'glazed over' means that it's not see-through, similar to how an aircraft looks with a [url=http://acecombat.wikia.com/wiki/Connection_for_Flight_Interface]COFFIN system.[/url] 
It could be a number of things, especially from Ace Combat. Or it could be something else altogether, as our dear GM says - there's no reason he can't introduce new aircraft, after all. I'd be doing the same in his place to keep us all guessing, and to write my own story. 

Just about to make a post - I'm going to assume that these aircraft aren't actually invisible, going by the last GM post, and it's just that they couldn't be easily seen. However, if they are supposed to have some kind of optical camouflage or something, then I'll edit my post as needed.
