He is not one to let words get to him, taking even insults in stride. After all, an asshole can still be a friend, right? Despite his friendly demeanor, the young man is highly attuned to violence; be it a friendly tussle or a no-holds-barred barfight, he never backs down from a fight directed at him or, for that matter, a fight he [i]could[/i] be involved in. In the end, however, he never sees such things as any more than friendly tussles. A grand life of excitement and happiness lies before him, and Culann runs after it without tire. Friends to be made, experiences to be had, emotions to be felt... He seeks them all equally with a boundless optimism. Never before has he been swayed to see the world in a poorer light, though Culann is not ignorant that such views exist, nor that the world is without fault. Instead, he merely chooses to avoid the bad and celebrate the good. On the negative side of his soul, however, lies a vengeful heart. Culann finds it very difficult to turn the other cheek when it comes to slights against those he cares for. Culann does not forget, nor does he forgive. A truly-made enemy of Culann, one who could not be befriended by the man, are doomed to an eternal poor reputation at best, and a tireless manhunt at worst. [b]Color:[/b] [color=#35de6c]Neon Green[/color] [center][img]http://i.imgur.com/e6SrE6x.png[/img][/center] [b]Weapon:[/b] [color=#35de6c]Tooth and Nail[/color] - A suit of armor that acts as Culann's regenerating "shield". Thanks to his Semblance, "Preservation", Culann can actively undo damage done to the armor, such as cracks, tears, holes, etc, so long as he has direct contact with the suit prior to the damage occurring. Thanks to this, Culann can prevent damage from reaching the underlying Aura he exhibits. In a sense, the armor is an added layer of defense on top of his Aura, though is one which can repair itself unlike natural Aura. The suit itself is not of any particularly extreme quality; it serves as a standard defense barrier built to deal with most mundane offensive weaponry, such as unmodified projectiles or melee weapons. Greater quality builds and skill sets can break the armor relatively easily, even moreso with effort. Its defensive nature relies moreso on its regenerative abilities than raw fortitude. Focused, precise, and successive fire upon a single spot in the armor renders its benefits useless. "Soft" style armor makes Tooth and Nail far less heavy than one would expect. While parts such as the shoulders, helmet, and boots are made of solid metal material, the cloth-like portions are in fact a thicker and specialized plastic with incredible flexibility and freedom of motion. Regardless of their non-metal characteristics, they feature a notably strong durability that matches Culann's defensive needs but is nevertheless inferior to metal. The flexible nature of the armor however allows for a unique Dust-powering system that maintains flexibility without increasing fragility. A sort of vascularized supply system for wind-aspected Dust empowers Culann within the armor, increasing the speed of his strikes, and with it, the force of his strikes. In terms of offense, Tooth and Nail is simple. Equipped with sharpened claws at its hands and feet, the suit promotes fist-fighting at close range. Attacks by Culann with Tooth and Nail are meant to shred and strike, offering a good mixture of light cutting power and strong blunt damage. Internal mechanisms and an adaptive "tail" offer Culann in-armor balance to deal with situations requiring higher acrobatic ability. [b]Specialty:[/b] Up close, non-stop havoc. Culann is a "berserker" fighter, preferring to maintain consistent offensive output at the behest of active defense. Instead, Culann relies on the combination of Tooth and Nail and his Semblance (as well as his underlying Aura barrier) to create a passive defensive array that allows him to focus purely on offense. With his short-range weaponry, Culann prefers to fight with a bestial style, slashing and striking in quick succession to overwhelm his opponents and keep them constantly on their toes. With no held weapon, he is free to engage in potent grappling techniques as well, latching onto limbs and even weapons to stop attacks short. Hailing to his bestial fighting style, unconventional stances such as being on all-fours can also help Culann to scramble the opponents understanding of his next attack (though against Hunters well-accustomed to fighting Grimm, such a stance may not be as confusing). [b]Semblance:[/b] [color=#35de6c]Preservation[/color] - Culann's Semblance is essentially a regenerative skill, though can [i]only[/i] be applied to things other than himself, though it need not necessarily be living. So long as Culann can maintain physical contact with the object, he can maintain the object's form and appearance, such as reverting a crack in a teacup that formed only [i]after[/i] he began holding it. He cannot apply this ability to things affected prior to his physical contact. For example, if Culann were to be holding a teacup with his finger and sharply shatter it on a table (still holding the remains), he could use Preservation to revert the teacup to its unbroken self. Pieces would fall back together in a short second or two, and reveal a teacup none the worse for wear. However, if Culann were to [i]drop[/i] the teacup (thus letting go) and it shattered upon the ground, he could not return it to normal, as the object had left physical contact prior to its being damaged. Culann [i]can[/i] heal wounds inflicted upon other people (given the restrictions described above), but he cannot, for some reason, apply the ability to himself. Very large objects of an ambiguous size are unaffected by Preservation unless he activates the ability close to the source of damage. For example, he could not recover a hole blown in the side of a building at its third floor if he is touching the building at the ground level.
