Toaru Espers tend to essentially have one type of power. For example, Electromasters are essentially what their name suggests and deal with electromagnetic phenomena. Pyrokinetics deal with thermal energy. Aero Hand pushes things with air and that's pretty much it but it's pretty useful when fighting giant robots. Military Oil basically had total influence over petroleum and petroleum products. Liquid Shadow controls liquids from a range of 20m.

Most Espers tend to have some elevated brain activity (like Accelerator pre-crippling, where he did all his vector calculations himself rather than piggybacking off the Network), but there's not much sign of rapid learning there. It doesn't seem to link up with the general "Telekinetic" powerset you're going for.
