Patty had been preoccupied with making sure the area had been made as secure as possible once Jeth had taken off. I swear, if Jeth wasn't around, I would have gone insane a long time ago. My sons still being up there in that temporary slumber. Missing them is the least of the feelings I have right now. Being ripped out of her day dream she heard the good doctor holler from down the way. She told a couple of the farm hands still around to do their best at making sure no unnecessary people came around. "Doc! Hey Doc!" she shouted while jogging up to her. "I am terribly sorry for keeping you waiting in this...tragic scene here. I was the one who contacted for medical so if you need anything from me please feel free to ask." Patty was once again brought back to the body of Reggie. His throat non existent, jaw finally starting to stop eroding away, it looked like something out of one of them gore films. Just a week ago he had been giving her hell over the music she and Jethro made. Now it would seem a tragic turn of fate took away his ability to bring music to the world. Reggie wasn't musically inclined but most of the hell he brought to them was to make them better. He knew the two of them loved music because they were simple people. She wasn't as simple as Jeth but music helped calm her nerves. Kids up in the final frontier sleeping still, every day was a mystery, to continue was a familiar hobby kept her feet planted on this planet. Stifling some tears, "His name was Reggie, Doc. I don't know what you can take from this scene, but I am willing to help anyway I can." Across the world Jethro was being put into an entirely different situation. Avaline had just brushed passed him on her way out. Tipping his head to her as she left it didn't seem to warrant any acknowledgment from her. He shrugged it off and headed inside. Nir on the other had was a treat in himself. Jeth loved the guy because he was one of the smart ones. The knowledge adventure he dove down seemed to have no end from his eyes. Whenever Jeth got to come by it seemed as though Nir was working on something new in the lab. This sort of passion in a job always inspired Jeth and brought the best out in him. However, his mind was thrown for a loop after Nir had explained to him that the new Ghost leaf was good for smoking. Hot damn this day is returned slowly to a neutral state. I will need some time to really give Reggie his proper send off but this will be a smoke for him. Am I being selfish pushing for this at a time like this? No, Nir doesn't need to get brought down needlessly. He is to important a scientist to have his mind distracted. Sure the ending of a life is as important as it gets. With that being said, Patty and I will have it covered. "Boy oh boy, the famous ghost leaf!" he announced as he graciously grabbed the pipe from Nir. "I would be more than honored to smoke this." Striking a match in his pocket he drew in the smoke from the pipe. Mint overtook his mouth that brought him back to his dipping days. Throwing in a pinch of Copenhagen Mint and letting it sit there used to be a part of his daily routine on the farm. Since leaving, and dip being a thing of the past, his mind raced with new opportunities to enjoy the Leaf. As he exhaled a bluish smoke rose into the air. "Look at that Nir! That is mighty pretty. Can you think about the possibilities with this leaf? Cigar rolling, chopping it up to dip, you can really get a good industry going for us workers out in the fields!" He leaned over, brought his bongos in between his legs, and started beating away on them. Just a nice soft tone to keep the mood calm. [@Caits] [@Synthesis]
