Aria remained crouched where she was for a while, listening for any sounds from the troopers on the other side. Muffled, but still audible, she could hear them coughing as the dust kicked up from the rockslide began to clear. “Oh, you have GOT to be joking!” groaned an angry voice. Quarrelling soon broke out amongst the group regarding how they were going to get back down from the pathway again, punctuated by the commander hollering: “YOU CAN’T PLANT CHARGES ON AN UNSTABLE MOUNTAINSIDE, YOU COMPLETE BUFFOON! Are you TRYING to get us all killed?!” Shaking her head to herself as she rose and began to jog back towards the assembly hall, Aria chuckled and muttered. “Complete morons!” she was within a few feet of the hall when Yerbol’s voice spoke to her again. They fell for it hook, line and sinker. We’re clear. He had said ‘we’, hopefully that was a good sign that he’d found at least a few of the other Jedi in there. Yerbol re-appeared with three youngsters in tow, Aria turning to head back the way the pair had come before. “Come on, we shouldn’t waste any time in case they DO decide to take the risk and start using explosives.” she caught herself in the midst of her next stride, pausing briefly to turn and smile at the Padawans. “I’d devote some time to introductions, but getting off world before we’re all obliterated is taking priority on the to-do list right now. We’ll chit-chat later when we’re not all about to die.” the former acolyte looked to and fro as the small group made their way along the track, searching with her senses as she tried to find the place where Neta had chosen to set down their transport. The surrounding area was nearly empty of any other life forms, which made the task considerably easier. Once they had jogged up the ramp, they were greeted by a rather agitated pilot who seemed more than relieved to see the two Force users had returned in one piece. “Thank the stars you’re here, we’ve got a BIG problem.” Aria didn’t like the sound of that. Before she could ask what KIND of problem, Neta was beckoning them towards the galaxy map in the middle of the main hold. Little markers indicating an approaching fleet, blinked at them like angry red and black hornets. “Well...there go our chances of getting back into slipspace.” huffed Aria, hands on her hips as she turned towards Neta. “Tell me you’ve got a way of getting us out of here. I don’t think they’re here to talk this out.” At this point she was just hoping Neta was as good at piloting as the HoloNet boasted spec ops trained personnel were. The redhead’s lips were pressed together in a tight smile, nodding as she breezed back towards the cockpit. “There’ll be a gap somewhere, I’ll find it.” she promised. All at once, the craft lurched off the ground and began to climb into the air before the loading ramp had even tucked in completely. The treeline quickly dwarfed underneath them as they shot towards the planet’s atmosphere, Neta hollering over the sound of their ship’s engines, a note of urgency in her tone. “Everyone hold onto something, this is about to get pretty crazy! If either one of you two space monks is any good with evasive maneuvers it’d be nice if I could get a co-pilot!” She swallowed, looking in Yerbol’s direction. “Think you can manage it? I mean, I’ve flown a TIE fighter before, but that was like...two times. I get the feeling this thing isn’t quite as maneuverable.” she broke off into a peal of nervous laughter, her voice increasing slightly in pitch. The clouds disappeared, giving way to stars and with them the wall of both Republic and Empire ships forming a blockade around the planet. The ship pitched sharply to one side as the fleet opened fire as soon as they were within sight. From the cockpit, Neta bellowed: “ANYTIME TODAY WOULD BE BLOODY FANTASTIC!” they had shield generators, of course, but they could only withstand so much... “Sorry, sorry! We’re coming!” Aria shouted back, spinning around on the spot in a distressed manner, not entirely confident in her own piloting abilities (especially not under such great pressure). She stopped again, taking in a deep breath to try and steady herself. Act now, panic later. It helped, a little. “I don’t know if I can do this, Bol…”
