Evelyn didn't really react much to Kurai's fainting.  The kid was already showing signs he was about to kill over.  She shrugged slipping her arm around Kurai's other side helping Nara carry him.  [color=ed1c24]"Heh, damn!  He looks like me after a Blacktooth Grin."[/color]  Evelyn chuckled.  [color=ed1c24]"C'mon Be'elzebub.  Let's get you somewhere safe.  Ain't no telling when Annie Oakley's psycho cousin's coming back."[/color]  Really she hoped that bitch stayed away for good.

It was him, the one they called....Master.

In all her life, only one man could strike such crippling fear into her heart.  Anna stood before him, tall, white haired cut short and spiky, half his face covered by a black surgical mask.  To gaze into his cold, black eyes, twas as though Anna peered into the gaping jaws of Hell itself.

[color=9e0039]"Well Anna?"[/color]  He spoke sternly crossing his arms.  Anna shivered in his shadow, hesitantly answering in sign language, [i]"I...I tried to kill them, but there were too many.  They were stronger too, not like the other supers we've hunted down."[/i]

[color=00aeef]"Jeez Hellen Keller, don't talk so loud!"[/color]  Maria giggled mocking her, only gaining a stern glare from Master.  He resumed turning to Anna, [color=9e0039]"Either way, you failed again to eliminate your targets.  I will notify Director Stone and see if further punishment is necessary.  For now...you have one last chance.  Kill them, or it will be your head on the chopping block."[/color]  And with that he turned and walked away, leaving Anna frozen in such horrific dismay.  [color=9e0039]"Let's go, Tesla.  Don't keep me waiting."[/color]

Maria was about to leave till she looked at Anna paralyzed with fear.  A sadistic, sharp toothed grin inched its way across her lips as she sauntered over, leaning in and whispering ever so fiendishly in Anna's ear, [color=00aeef]"Maybe when they kill you, Master will let me [i]play[/i] with your corpse.  [i]Do Svidaniya[/i], my Russian Cupcake!~"[/color]  Her serpent tongue licked Anna's cheek, causing the poor girl to shudder immensly.

[color=9e0039]"Maria, hurry up!"[/color]  Master called irritated.

[color=00aeef]"I'm coming god dammit!  Keep your pants on, Master!  Jeez!"[/color]

Anna stood there, petrified still.  One chance...that's all she was given, one last chance to put a bullet in the heads of those damn supers...or have one find its way into her head.  Once Master and Maria were gone, Anna did what she always would when they weren't around.  She fell to her knees on the ground...crying...  Tears streamed fown her face, hot, painful tears that burned her eyes bloodshot.  She wept, curling her legs up to her and burying her face in her knees.  If anything, death was less of a punishment...

....and more of a blessing...
