Toun can feel free to poke the roadkill with a stick if he wants before he moves on to space, where he's probably more likely to get a conscious answer since that bit of Jvan wasn't set on fire.

She coloured two whole rings in pink and purple and dumped some sizeable constructs up there, so I think he's justified in looking either way if he feels even mildly curious.
