I think a time skip would be okay in this case. It wouldn't hurt to sew up a few loose ends with a couple posts before we make the jump though. The crash scene and journey away from the wreck are going to set up a lot of plot items in the future, i.e.: what the characters bring with them from the plane, what they do with the wreckage, what direction they head off in, etc.. Since there wasn't a lot of postage for Isaac, it wont be hard to continue the story without him, I just dont want us to inadvertently create plot holes later on while we're anxious to get moving again.
