This hilt uses technology that is designed to channel Ki and create a blade of energy that can cut through dense material. The stronger he gets the more sharper and powerful the blade gets. To create the blade the wielder must be able to control their Ki in order to maintain it and use it properly in combat. He calls the weapon The Star Blade.

Sonic Strike: Gin moves at incredible speeds and strikes his enemies with quick slashes of his blade.  This technique relies on speed over strength.

Slicing Cyclone: He spins around at insane speeds and does a massive sweep of his sword to slice all enemies that are surrounding him.

Spearing Blade: He elongates his Ki blade to make it shoot out at a very fast pace to spear his foes with it. It is so far his only special technique that can hit at a range. It's maximum reach is forty feet.
