Masae Kanegawa Even with the start of the festival, life remained relatively the same for one Masae Kanegawa. She had to keep better track of her time, and she was out of the apartment more, but ultimately it wasn't that different from what she did normally. If they had a tech issue they called her up, and she fixed it before the day was ruined. In return she got a couple nice perks, but beyond whatever discounts she might get for food and the like she didn't care too much. She just enjoyed the satisfaction of fixing the problem. Though getting fed never hurt either. At the moment though she was curled up in bed, blankets pulled tight to allow her to bask in the warmth that surrounded her. She liked to think of herself as a creature that didn't need too many comforts, but she hated having to sleep in the cold. Even if their place wasn't actually that cold at night, it made her feel better. Through the dreams of her blissful sleep came the clinking and grinding of the coffee machine, indicating that Aderyn was awake and already busy with sating her addiction. In a way, it would have been more troubling had Masae not heard it, with as much routine as it was for her roommate. Otherwise she might have thought that something was wrong, and otherwise left herself to worry about what had happened. With Aderyn's medical condition she didn't think it was an unreasonable worry. But she tried to cling to her sleep, at least a bit more if she could. Tendrils of her dreams continued to try and lull her back into oblivion, the strange and the outright weird that she couldn't claim in real life. Something involving parkour...giant robots...explosions? Already it felt like it was fading from her mind, leaving her to grumble and shift beneath the covers as she was pulled from her pleasant hideaway. Aderyn's call at last roused her from her sleep in the full, and she sat up before rubbing her eyes. Well, not much point in trying to fall asleep again now. She knew herself well enough to know that once she woke up, she wasn't going to get back to that state easily. Brown slippers went onto her feet as she went about getting out of bed. "It's wherever you left it," she called back as she swung her bedroom door open and walked out into the apartment proper. "I haven't touched your shampoo recently." Honestly, it was just the typical morning here, in spite of the festival. [@Mega Birb]
