So this is what they're up to, huh? Do I casually intervene? Do I introduce myself? I mean, not that there's any point. Most important person to me right now only sometimes recognized my name, when prompted by other people. Usually with a reminder that it's Sophia, not just Berserker. Seriously. Not cool. I haven't even thought these thoughts yet. Well...now I have. And I know what they're referring to, but I'm not even there. Not yet. Berserker (Sophia Dahl. I remember it now. Good.) barrels through the street, as she is wont to do, though not as literally as she'd like. She's not a savage. She just doesn't see the point in ONLY running when she could run on what amounts to bladed stilts. Super stylish ones, at that. Because, come on. They don't speed her up any, but they sure as hell make people move out of the way as she sprints right into the lobby of the building, with a slow motion wink and wave to the guard. Not slowing time down or anything, just doing it over a greater traveled distance. And now the thoughts she had earlier come to her again. These are the people. Miaow. Or...woof? Aroo? Ah, but now I have that in my head. Stupid audiobooks. If I had just read- right. Stuff. Big stuff. Stop stuff. Dropping to the ground after removing her foot blades, she switched back to her usual twin axes. Because why not be a stereotype? Especially when you're not really costumed correctly, with your cheap-@$$ plastic mask that looks vaguely like a poorly drawn caricature of some president who hasn't been in office for nearly a decade from a dollar store sale bin, and that literally being all you did for costume this time? Seriously? Why even bother? Then again, she doesn't have time for all my rambling. She has to go upward...in general. On the stairs. Like some...technophobe. "So...this way. If you're interested." She yelled, from the entrance to the stairway. She didn't really know if it was EXACTLY the right way, or which floor she had to go on. That would be too easy. Minimum effort. Not cool. ---------------- The shift in gravity was enough to find out where they were, at least. She wasn't quite there yet, but it was noticeable just outside it, too. That wouldn't do. She'd have to fix that. Which...she tried. And tried. And it probably would've worked, too, if it hadn't been for the two people that would probably have been impressed by it, if they were still following her. So...that was a thing. "Berserker." Because now's the time for an introduction. Just at the edge of a gravity well/ocean/reality distortion/whatever else it was.
