Ashley was frankly surprised by how quickly the Lady Prescot moved once she’d made a decision and thought briefly of resisting in some meager way so as to not expose her own desperation but thought it counter productive so went with the flow. Soon she was in an office alone with a Vampire whose presence her own experiences told her could only be of higher rank than any she’d ever been exposed to.
