Nothing really convoluted. The Dissidia story formula is pretty solid as it is, honestly. I guess the main draw, is that characters that would never speak to each other interact. It makes it interesting, because they can give each other different perspectives and make them think outside the realm of their own games logic. This is a roleplay after all, so I guess we'd be doing a good amount of that. We'd pretty much just follow the standard Dissidia setup, the characters wake up with most of their memories lost, and their base personalities from early in their games, before their character development kicks in. They are told by Cosmos to find their crystal to stop Chaos, while Chaos's Warriors try and vanquish them. Each character has their own mini-arc, with the climax being a battle with their series respective antagonist. The ultimate goal, would obviously be the defeat of Chaos. If we'd fail, the story would begin another cycle. As for my characters, I strongly want to play as Layle from Crystal Bearers, as well as Jegran, the games main villain. And of course, whatever else comes into my head, maybe an obscure character, I dunno.
