However, in the depths of the night, with the moon hanging overhead to unveil the secrets of the night with her silvery light, one who find it a place of much danger. A high number of poison type pokemon lived within this forest for many years, which had given it a reputation among many noobie trainers as a nightmare if you lacked the funds to purchase antidotes or Pecha berries. But the forest was becoming increasingly well-known as well for being home to many different kinds of pokemon from all kinds of regions. While the reasons for this are entirely known, the results have been that territory and living space between the number of the pokemon residents here was getting rather sparse, and this often caused disputes amongst the residents that often ended in violence. Noibat would, unfortunately, find herself in one such predicament. After the day's work, she had chosen a different spot to rest for the night in the forest, exhausted after the altercation with that one trainer from earlier. However, as she slept that night, a gruff voice would startle her from her sleep, the voice barely heard in her groggy state. The fist coming straight towards her face, however, registered instantly, and she just barely managed to avoid it by rolling to the side. Now plenty of awake, she shifted into her humanoid form, dressed in her more revealing garb, she spotted the aggressor tp be a rough looking Axew, his dark green hair going every which way in a matted mess, his clothes filthy and ragged, and eyes full of rage. "The hell do you think you're doing in my territory, runt." A deep growl would accomany these words as the dragon pokemon approached. Noibat narrowed her eyes, cursing slightly as she realized her day had just gone from bad to worse. Not looking to start a fight, but not wanting to let this asshole get off scot free, she took a breath before letting out a high-pitched shriek. Her plan was simple: Disorient the jerk with Supersonic, then charge in to tackle him to the ground, before shifting into her pokemon form and flying away while he was down. That planned almost immediately failed. While her opening attack did have an effect, the Axew suddenly grasping his head in pain, he didn't miss her approach and responded with an attack of his own. A dark energy would flow from his fist as he sent a lightning fast jab up into straight into Noibat's face. She could barely register the hit as it came towards her, the force behind it knocking her wildly off course as she ended up smacking into a tree. Shit . . . I may have just pissed of someone I shouldn't have. I've got to get out of-SHIT! Noibat was forced to dive out of the way of a savage slash by the Axew, the light coming from the white claw-shaped energy seeming to make the red in his eyes burn with a savage, almost feral intensity. Not to mention the sizeable gash left in the tree was a testament that she didn't want to get hit by this guy's attacks. Getting up, she quickly tried to run away, not trusting herself to fly as the world around her was shifting in ways it clearly shouldn't be. The Axew, however, was not far behind, the only thing stopping him from gaining on her was the fact that her Supersonic was still in effect, thus causing him to crash into one or two trees as he charged after her. However, this seemed to also have the adverse effect of pissing him off even more, as his growling curses became more vivid and descriptive. The chase, with all of the cursing, crashing, and general disruptiveness, was very loud and it wouldn't be hard to find the source of it as Noibat struggled to keep ahead of her pursuer.
Rasa crawled into her tent, it was just enough for one person to be comfortable. She set it up just at the beginning of the forest not too far from the official route. She was aware of the trainer house that offered free food and sleeping place. She didnt want to use it, if she could help it. She wanted to earn all she needed on this journey herself and with her own strength. Food, shelter, money. It sure would make it harder, and she wasnt sure if that will work out but she was going to give it a try. Which meant sleeping in a tent even if she could be in a comfortable bed. To think this was her first night as a pokemon trainer. The day was full of interesting things and happenings. She meet her two rivals. One older boy with strange view, and the girl in red dress in love with ghosts pokemon. She fought alongside them against tugs. Helping out a boy out. To finally reach the city watching a rival battle between trainers who were about to earn their last badge. It was all so exciting for her. Tomorrow she would set out to train, she still had to work a strategy for the first gym. Maybe she will write a letter home tomorrow as well... Her mind wandered imaging the adventure ahead of her. The blond girl started to doze off and soon to sleep. Thougth her rest didnt last for too long. First it sounded like a screech and she wondered if some ghost pokemon or angry bird pokemon was close. She was a little uneasy as she peeked out the tent due to the darkness of the forest. "Maybe it wasnt the best idea to camp in the forest." She wondered aloud and was about to close the tent up again when a crash echoed, and another and another. Was there a fight going on? Taking a breath she grabbed her bag with all her possessions and went after the sound. A true trainer would not back down from investigating, who knows maybe she will see a legendary? The stories did went something like In dark night all alone in a far corner of the wildernest... The sound became clearer and Rasa was now sure it was fighting sounds. She stopped as the sound started to come closer. She looked at the tree and moved beside it for security and to partially hide. In the darkness and out the bushes she could spot now two shapes. One hand went towards her pokedex, taking it out and watching what was happening.
As Rasa came closer to the battle sight, things were looking bad for Noibat. Really Bad. She was covered with deep-looking cuts and bruises, rivulets of blood flowing down from her wounds, as she struggled to stand up. Her opponent stood over her, his breath steaming in the cold night air, eyes burning with a bestial rage. Reaching down, he picked her up by her neck, bringing her up to his face his intense glare. "This is what happens when you decide you want to fuck with someone out of your league. You should've just left my territory." With a roar, he'd rear his other fist back, dark energy coiling around it as he launched a solid Assurance-infused punch straight into her gut. Noibat would hiss at the pain, but instead of giving the bastard the pleasure of hearing her scream, she'd spit a glob of blood straight into his eyes. The Axew would let out an enraged scream, and that's when Noibat would make her nest attempt at freedom. Letting loose an Ear-piercing Supersonic right into his face, she'd be released from his grasp as he tried to cover his ears. However, it was too late, and the Axew was once again confused by the attack. With another roar, he'd launch himself at Noibat, but his vision was too blurry for him to even get close to hitting her, causing him to run face first into a tree. Now, the smart thing to do would've been to run right then and there, but Noibat was more than a little pissed off by this jack-off, and so proceeded to shift into her pokemon form and, while the Axew was still trying to get up, flying around to his front and shifting while in mid-flight so that her feet were angled straight forward. With the added moment of her flight speed, she was flying pretty fast, and thus, the tackle-kick would be pretty strong and focused on her target. Said target came into view just as she shifted back, the bright flash of the change disorienting Axew enough that he couldn't possible defended as she drop-kicked him right in his balls. Another roar would tear through the forest, but this one was quite a few decibels higher than the other. Nimbly rolling out of the way, Noibat was confident that she had gotten the better of this asshole. And then she felt a chill run up her spine, turning around to see the burning gaze of the Axew's blood red eyes focusing directly on her. She once again tried to get away, but the Axew was on her before she could even take another step, letting loose another Scratch attack across her back, this one managing to draw out a rather severe cry of pain, the attack looking pretty bad as Noibat fell to the ground. With the Axew standing menacingly over her, Noibat couldn't help but shake, tears forming in her eyes. This was it. She was going to die here, with no one to blame but herself. She shouldn't have gotten so cocky. She should've minded her own business. Now, all she could do was look up at her assailant, knowing that the end was upon upon her, and no one was coming to her rescue.
Rasa quickly realized that this were wild pokemon fighting, didnt have to be a genius for that. Her pokedex set on silent she scanned those two wild pokemon. She was surprised when she read that both were dragons types. In the letters of her sister she never mentioned that she encouraged dragon types in this forest. Rasa heard the Axew speak about territory and she paid attention. It was then she noticed how badly the other pokemon was already hurt. The fight was probably over, the Noibat looked as if she was barely standing. And even so the Axew punched her without holding bad, Rasa gasped silently. She saw pokemon battles before, but this was something different. The dragon type was in rage. And the half flying type splitted out some blood into the Axew eyes. Making him even angrier. Rasa felt shocked. If that continued the pokemon would die, she was seriously hurt. She had to flee. The ear piercing sound made Rasa wince, and even if she wasnt the target she was distracted by it. The Axew launched himself against the tree behind which the human was hiding, and Rasa tripped backwards and fall into a bush. She felt fear, if the Axew noticed her in the bush that she was now in he would surely attack. She didnt have anything that would work against him. His slashes looked strong. In a frozen horror Rasa watched the dangerous pokemon starting to stand up shaking head to clear it. A moment longer and he will notice her. Yet, the noibat didnt flee like Rasa assumed she should have, instead unknowingly she saved the blond trainer. Elegantly moving through the air despite injuries while in her pokemon form. She shifted mid flight and kicked the Axew away. The noibat saved her life. She was beautiful and impressive. Yet she underestimated her opponent. It was that moment that Rasa made a decision. She pushed the dex in her bag and took in each hand a pokeball. She heard the slash and cry from the other, she had been hit. More nimble than Rasa believed herself to be she jumped on her feet and got a running start. She made two steps before she had a clear view, throwing both balls out. Noibat was on the ground the Axew menacing hovering over her. His attention directed on his target. Ready to end her life. Neither awaited the ball to hit them. Two perfect throws. Neither awaited the red light to pull them in against their will in the red and white ball. Rasa wasnt stopping or waiting, the pokeball with Noibat was already in her palm as she felt the first shake. The girl's heart was pounding as she continued to run between the trees. Getting away from the Axew ball. She knew Axew would definitely break the pokeball and than he will be pised at the trainer daring try and catch him. The second shake. "Please, stain in." She whispered to the ball in her hand. She heard the Axew roar, he broke free, but Rasas plan worked. The time he needed to escape the weak pokeball, got her the time to get a headstart and make some distance between him and herself. The third shake. She didnt look behind, she didnt want to know if a pissed off dragon pokemon was on her heels. She heard the crashing and cutting, but that sound was being drowned out by her pounding heart. She pushed herself to run even faster. The click and a flash of light signalized Noibat was caught. She broke out on the route and kept on running towards the city. On her mind only a single goal. The pokecenter. The trainer didnt slow down in her mad dash even when she entered the city streets. They were empty at this time of night, but Rasa knew the moment she stops running she will be tired and exhausted. The light of the poke center came in the view and Rasa slowed down until she stopped and was leaning on the wall of the building. She was panting, and she felt sore. She needed a moment as she was catching her breath. "...am changing my mind... staying at the Trainer house... not so bad." She told it to the pokeball in her hand a smile dancing on her lips. She pushed herself off the wall and crossed the few steps to the door. It was open like always. She moved to the counter. "Good evening. Do you want to heal your pokemon?" The nice nurse asked and Rasa nodded and offered the ball with the dragon flying pokemon inside. There were a few other people there but she didnt care. The only thing she wanted to hear was that Noibat was fully healed. "Oh dear, she got really hurt. You should take better care of your pokemon." The nurse said as she put the ball in machine watching how the ball spun, while it was healing the pokemon inside to full health. The ding chimed and the nurse gave the ball back to Rasa. "Hope to see you again." "Thank you. I will take good care of her." Rasa hearth calmed down by then and the trainer made his way to the Trainer house. There was no way she was going tonight back to her tent. At least she was lucky to take her bag with her when she left it. All important things were in it. She could in the day pick her tent up... if the Axew didnt found it and destroyed... She hoped he didnt. She glanced back at the pokeball in her hand. She really wanted to meet her and welcome her to the team Stormbringer. Once Rasa was at the Trainer house she asked for a room. Luckily they had a free one. She passed several people on her way and she entered it. Sitting down, on the chair and pointed the ball up front. She briefly wondered about a nickname for her new pokemon and it was easy to come up with one that would fit her. "Come out! How are you feeling? " She asked the pokemon now in front of her.
Noibat didn't remember much after getting zapped into the pokeball, too tired to even attempt resistance. Even as she was healed up at the Pokecenter, she was still feeling really exhausted by the whole ordeal. It was only when she was being talked from outside her new prison that she came back to full consciousness, and thus, felt the true weight of what happened. So when told to come out, Noibat did indeed come out. Rasa probably didn't expect to be tackled to the ground by a very angry pokemon growling at her with, upon close inspection, some very very sharp looking teeth. "Do you really want to know?" She said through clenched teeth, wanting to punch this bitch in her face a thousand times over. She'd been avoiding trainers like her for years, and because of one screw-up, this piece of shit had managed to snatch her up like a quarter off the ground. But just as soon as a fist was raised to lay into her trainer, it froze as she processed everything the trainer said and the circumstances of the capture. If it wasn't for this trainer, Noibat would've died, if not from the Axew then probably from the injuries he inflicted getting all kinds of infected and what not. Realizing this, she let out a number of curses, directed at the trainer, the Axew, and herself in that order, before shifting into her Pokemon form and flying up to hang upside down from the ceiling fan, glaring down at her new 'trainer' as she tried to figure someway out of this mess. I'm going to punch her if she puts me back in that fuckin' ball.
Rasa didnt await the noibat reaction at being out to be so...explosive. The pokemon jumped at her pushing her from the chair down on the floor and snarling at her with quite sharp teeth on display. Rasa was too tired and shocked to properly respond to that action. But as fast as it happened Noibat moved away from her and started cursing up a storm. It concluded with her shifting to her pokeform and settling heads down on the fan. Rasa raised from the floor, to sit up and stared up for a moment. Than for the young trainer a explanation clicked. She winced in sympathy. "I am sorry." She started. "It must have been extremely disorienting for you one moment to be about to have your head cut off and then next to be inside a room with a unknown person." It was a easy fix to the unknown part in Rasas mind. "Hello, I am Rasa Elenua. Welcome to the team Stormbringer! There is a storm coming for the top of the pokemon trainer world!" Rasa grinned pointing at herself, she would have strike a pose in any other situation. Her legs this time were not in the mood to move at all. "I think you are a perfect fit. You are strong, beautiful, determined, graceful and extremely adorable hanging upside down from that fan. I would like to nickname you Grazia. " The trainer concluded still having a wide grin, before a yawn still managed to slip away. Her long blond hair was a mess first from running away through the woods and second from being tackled down. Her eyes stayed open only because she was stubborn enough to stay still awake. And Rasa clothes and bag were partially covered by dirt from the eventful night. She wasnt at her most presentable, and the girl already dreaded the morning and brushing her mess of hair.
Noibat didn't respond to Rasa's words in the slightest, except for a narrowing of her eyes. Once she finished talking, silence would fill the room, tension starting to fill the room as the glare seemed to sharpen with every passing second. After 5 seconds that seemed like thirty, Noibat would fall to the floor, shifting in mid-air to land on solidly on her feet in a crouching position. The whole time, her eyes never left Rasa's, golden orbs burning with a muddled mix of emotions. Something Rasa would be able to take more notice of now that things had calmed down was that the tube-top she was wearing during the fight was no longer there, having fallen off during the flip. The culprit of this wardrobe malfunction being the large claw marks that weren't even a scar upon her back thanks to the Pokecenter. Noibat didn't care about that now, however, standing up to her full 5 ft and stepping over to look down at Rasa from where she was on the ground. "You . . . you saved my life. If you hadn't got me, I'd be dead. Because of this, I will stay with you until I repay that debt. But I also want you to understand something." Noibat would sink down closer and closer as she spoke, never breaking eye contact, or even really blinking too much. She wanted Rasa to see every emotion she could put into these words. "I'll listen to you, I'll fight for you, but I will not like you. In fact, I hate you right now. So don't think I care what you think, or what you want, or how you feel. And finally, don't put me in a pokeball ever again unless I can't walk even a centimeter by myself. Got it?"
As Grazia didnt respond, Rasa felt unsure of her introduction. Maybe she did it somehow wrong? It didnt help that the bat pokemon was glaring at her. She felt like averting her gaze, but resisted that impulse. She even felt pride that she didnt flinched when Noibat dropped off the ceiling flipping as elegant as possible directly into her other form. The tube top falling, but Rasa kept the dragons pokemon gaze. Even when she moved closer. Which trainer would flinch away from their own pokemon? No, she would trust her. Even if a traitorous part of Rasa mind wondered if she was such a failure as trainer that Noibat will simple bolt out the room. It wasnt like Rasa had any chance to catch the fully healed flying pokemon if she did that. Grazia spoke and Rasa stayed silent, the words started to raise Rasa spirit, sounding even noble. Yet they fast came to a point where it simple stung. I hate you. If she told Grazia that they were even because she unknowingly saved her life, she could leave. Would that be giving up? Rasa smiled her arms in a smooth motion wrapped themself around Grazia form. Leaning up just as fast she gave the pokemon a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you." She hated her, but a trainer will become great only if he works from the deepest point and up. And what is a worser relationship to start out with than absolute despite from your pokemon? She will trust Grazia and earn her trust in return as well. "For still giving me a chance. I will work hard to earn your trust and friendship as well as getting you stronger and faster. And something I want you to understand as your trainer I will take care of all your needs whatever those are." She would prove it to Grazia, she will prove it to her sister, to her family, to everyone that she is not second choice. That she can do it her way. That she is better and can tackle any challenge, that she is worthy. She will prove it to them all. She let go of Grazia and pointed to the tube top on the floor. "Can you sew? I have a sewing kit in my bag." Rasa pointed beside the chair where she sat several minutes ago. " If not I will fix it for you in the morning. I am sleepy now." Rasa spoke with a big smile on her face and shifting position till she was laying on her back on the floor. Her hands behind her head and eyes closed. "Take the bed, you need the extra rest. Good night Grazia." She quickly fall asleep, eventfulness of the day tiring. Her last thought was that she will trust Grazia to be there when she wake up and not run away from her.
W-w-w-what the hell?!?! Noibat's face turned a rather bright shade of red as the trainer not only hugged her, but kissed her on the cheek. Of all the possible responses that she had thought would come of her actions, this was certainly not one of them. It through her off, her glare replaced with a confused stare as the trainer spoke. When she was finally released and asked about the tube-top, Noibat was watching her carefully. Still not sure what to make of what just happened. "I don't care, rather I didn't have to wear it or these pants period. Human clothes are irritating." She muttered, switching back to her Noibat form to hang from the fan again. While the bed did look rather comfortable, she'd be damned if she was going to use it. She also wanted to tell the girl to stop naming her, but decided it wasn't worth the effort. She was a trainer's pokemon now, so she was going to have to suffer a name either way.
[@Raijinslayer][@Caits][@Holy Soldier]
