Leisy Takigawa
— Feyhollow Town — Leisy visibly winced at the gashes on Ella’s father’s arm before internally smacking herself. This is not the time to be a clueless idiot who doesn’t have experience with injuries, Leisy, she told herself sternly, even if you are. Taking a calming breath in, Leisy swung her bag around and rummaged through it, searching for the rudimentary first aid kit that she’d bought as part of her camping supplies. “Here you go, Mr. Vaude,” she said, opening the kit and handing it to the man. “Best to clean it and bandage it up quickly.” Leisy gave the family a little space as the wounds were dressed, turning instead to inspect the desiccated garden. Clearly at one point well-loved and tended, the colorful petals were now scattered about the dirt in a haphazard manner as if a horde of Taurus had trampled through. The culprits—it would be impossible for just one individual to kidnap more than one Pokemon, at least in Leisy’s mind—clearly had no interest in not leaving behind evidence as there appeared to be shoe-prints all over the dark, nutrient-filled dirt. They’d clearly valued speediness over cleanliness in this case. Prepared for anything, Shanae’s mind was already skipping over her next moves: she’d release her Jigglypuff and send it after whatever Pokemon came charging her way. A non-physical move would be preferable—something that ended the battle immediately even more so. Yes, she’d order a ‘Sing’ to knock the enemy Pokemon out, thus ending the battle right then and there. This way, she wouldn’t have to hurt the enemy, and they wouldn’t be able to hurt her Pokemon either. The rocks continued to shift as if there were some huge monster rousing from its slumber. The hairs on the back of Shanae’s neck stood up as she realized that it wasn’t that the rocks were shifting to allow some Pokemon to surface—it was that they themselves were the Pokemon. Oh god, an Onix? A Rhyhorn? Shanae thought, muscles tensing as her hand lifted from Amatorius’ Pokeball and instead drew towards Turris’. Either way, if it’s going to be some hulking giant, there’s no way any of my Pokemon would stand a chance in this corridor, especially if it came charging towards us. Shanae braced herself to run.
