The pub had been doing well and he had to admit he felt accomplished that he even had managed to merge the flavors of his home land Ireland with the ideas of England. The pub which was named The crow, was peaceful and nestled on the very edge of the city filled with supernaturals. A place that was neutral and that the owner did not allow any fighting. He set the barrel down next to the other five and slowly pounded the stopper into its side. Around him was a soothing image. The bar itself was made of a thick wood stained with many glass rings...most were from the large beer mugs that he used for containing the frothy amber liquids of the two specialty beers for that month. The stools were made from old barrels bolted to the floor with plush deep purple and blue cushions replacing the lids. The smaller tables were also made from barrels with their lids now slabs of wood. The larger tables being made from thick pieces of oak with chairs that were somehow more comfortable then they looked. He looked toward his right at the sliding window to the kitchen. Then at the ceiling which had be painted black with specks of white that were actually small lights meant to mimic the night sky. He sighed and looked sideways at two crows that stared back with beady eyes. "I know I know you want your fruit...spoiled beasts" he muttered and placed a bowl of fruit on the surface and watched the crows dig into it with sharp beaks. Snape looked purple in the light from the tints of blue and purple in the Windows which caused a different effect on Sirius who looked more like an oil slick. He moved to the heavy wooden door and opened it flipping the sign to open and looked at the wooden shop sign that gave the pub an old fashioned look. The painted crow with the words 'The Crow' written in an old fashioned text. He then walked back inside and waited for his cook who came rushing in and made his way to the kitchen. He had to admit the werewolf was efficient and made it exactly on time every time. He then looked up at the clock attached to the far wall and waited for the first batch of customers. He gave a small look of amusement as he heard Toni...who he called tiny, prepare for meals in the kitchen.
