Hopping from head to head, occasionally clashing blade to wing with a fallen, Mary finally made her way to the end of the hall, now opposite some straggler demons and the three fallen. All she had to do now was take care of the Fallen and lock the door behind her. Seemed simple enough. Mary pulled out her blade, it's larger surface area and higher density would allow her to shatter the fallen's wings more easily. Of course, the things were quick on their feet, or wings as it may be, so she didn't bother pulling out a secondary weapon. Needed all the mobility she could get. One of the demons lunged at Mary with zeal, to which Mary responded with an artful dodge, followed by a straight vertical chop to the left wing, now fairly close to her. A loud clang resonated through the room as the light but strong material was cracked, followed by two instances of the wind being swept up. Operating purely on instinct, Mary dashed backwards, being just narrowly clipped by one of the demons lances. A small trickle of milky white blood began to run from an open slit in her dress. Sneering at the monsters in front of her, Mary went on the offensive. Pulling out both her weapons, Mary absolutely tore into the nearest Fallen's wing, shattering it just as the one that had first attacked her was about to strike again. Multitasking, Mary both slashed at the third fallen one final time, ending it, while thrusting her jitte forward to catch the assailant's spear. While she could not break it, since it was made of light, this would be the perfect opportunity to strike. Mary slashed the now exposed core, killing another in a short time. All that was left was the final demon. It floated out of Mary's reach for a moment, assessing the situation. Both of it's allies had been dispatched rather hastily. It seemed to want to resort to ranged combat, hurling it's spears. Mary knew of their explosive properties, and quickly holstered one of her weapons to get away. She quickly closed the distance between the two, careful not to throw any weapons at the thing. Once close enough, the demon agreed to fight head on again, circling round before lunging for Mary's side. Again, she dodged and laid down the fire power before shattering it's core. With that done, Mary locked up, taking care of a few lesser demons on the way, and rushed over to the last gate. Kosara had surely taken care of the other gate by now.
