Listening as Vivian’s parents talked, Leisy found her mind conjuring up pictures of long-ago organizations that had been famed—back in the day—for kidnapping Pokemon and bending them to their will to carry out their motives. Names such as Team Galactic and Team Rocket flew through her mind, followed by vivid flashes from action and thriller movies that featured the groups, always warring with heroic trainers that believed in the goodness of both Pokemon and people alike. Having thought the world too modern, too “now,” too present for such dramatic and heart-rending acts, Leisy listened intensely to the couple’s story, a frown perched firmly on her face. “Were the people wearing similar clothes by chance? A certain color or logo?” Leisy asked, mind whirling as she thought of the iconic ‘G’ that marked the presence of team Galactic. “Was there any indication that they were part of a larger organization of sorts?”
Leisy (HHG): 86+2 [@dark light] [@luckyblackcat]

Shanae Eller
— Atana Mountain Range — Momentarily surprised, the larger Pokemon managed to gather its wits and move out of the way just as the small but significant steel Pokemon came charging at it like a bullet. The Graveler watched with wide eyes as the Aron’s blazing blue eyes locked onto its black ones, unwavering in their focus even as the Pokemon flew through the air away from the ground-rock dual type. “Turn and Metal Claw it!” the order came, and Turris twisted in midair to land a glancing blow off the Graveler’s side. The grating sound of metal scratching across rock echoed through the cavern as the Graveler scrambled away from the Aron, putting some distance between itself and the tiny but clearly not insignificant Pokemon that had just scored the first blow in the battle. Both the Aron and its trainer watched patiently, waiting for the wild Pokemon to make its move.
Shanae (HHG): 19+1
