Now that was interesting. Quite a sight to behold. Akoni mentally chided himself for his internal pun, careful not to drop his guard as the mutated flesh beast approached slowly, summoning more of its skeletal defenders in the process. He had no real way of describing this creature other than as an abomination. Some sort of mangled hand-like thing with eyes all over its body (what was it with demons and angels and the eye thing, anyway?) that attempted to appear as a small group of humans in a disguise that never could have possibly worked on anybody with half a brain. Ah, but of course, this was earth. There were plenty of those to go around, weren't there? Just as a skeleton attacked Akoni, and found itself suddenly falling from the ceiling for its troubles, Silas caught up and offered his own brand of sagely insight. He had summoned his two angelic hounds and now used a different weapon than Akoni had known from the Sage. There was no way that the army of skeletons had proven to be too difficult to handle with his normal gear, so Akoni figured that these were simply more appropriate for mowing down large numbers. "I do have a plan," the old wizard gruffly responded. As he spoke, he shattered a skeleton apart with his Lammasu gauntlet, then ripped a shard of rib bone free. "These eyes only unnerve the inexperienced. To the trained, they make a-" Hurling his clenched fist downward, Akoni opened a gate to pass through, and aimed to not just stab into one of the many eyes littering the creature's body, but to nail straight through into the floor itself. "Perfect bullseye!"
