Looking back on the manga, I can't exactly remember them addressing the Vampirism. I think Hobgoblins can turn into Ghouls by eating a lot of rotten flesh, so I'd say that drinking blood or eating a lot of raw meat would be the vampire's equivalent? Not sure though.
