She, perhaps fortunately or unfortunately, isn't exactly the most well endowed woman ever, but even she did have such womanly wiles, no one notice any of her features anyway, considering her very conservative style of dress. Temperance is the conservatively dressed, hot mess with a geeky vibe. She seems to be a magnet for unfortunate events, as evidenced by the many objects that fly from her hands or get toppled over. Talking to her is like talking to a squirrel. She rambles, pauses awkwardly, makes inappropriate jokes, even offends a person now and then with her naivety... Yes, unfortunately, her social skills are sorely lacking.

A typical reaction to Temperance is: [i]Holy shit, did she drink that whole pot of coffee?![/i] And the answer is yes. She absolutely did. Temperance seems to be constantly jonesin' for her next fix of caffeine. As one might expect, she constantly has a jittery appearance to her. Particularly, she has a habit of patting her thighs randomly in class, much to the chagrin of her class mates. 

For all her peculiarity, she's a sweet heart. Everybody knows her as that girl that is constantly running around, doing [i]something[/i]. Not a day goes by where she hasn't helped someone with something, and perhaps for this reason, some might think that she's a teacher's pet. Strangely, for a girl that looks so innocent and pure, Temperance has a keen interest in dark humor that deeply perturbs those that don't quite get her brand of comedy. All in all, this blonde is a wired bundle of weird.[/indent]

Temperance is the constant companion of severe anxiety. In fact, if it weren't for her steady regimen of pills, she'd probably break down into panic attacks every hour. Most of the time, she simply has no idea what she's doing. She gets so caught up in her own world, that she's missed the memo! This leads to her nervously rushing around to keep pace, then disasters happen and [i]doom, doom, doom[/i]! Someone's pressed the panic button! Every decision she makes feels like she's swimming in a sea of overwhelming options; thus why she comes off as an incoherent oaf or a clumsy fool. In order to try and fight the demons in her head that aim to cripple her, Temperance fights back by doing everything and anything. 

When she does offend or disturb people, and she often does, Temperance doesn't mean to. She simply doesn't understand that not everybody thinks quite like her or has the exact same interests as her. Her mouth just puts stuff out there, for better or worse! Regardless of what happens, she keeps going and tries not to let anything get her down.

[indent]Like most every one else in Westworth, Temperance comes from a small, tightly knit family. However, sometime after her birth, her father had a mental breakdown and is now in the care of the state. Since then, it has been her mother and herself, combating the ales of the world together. Well, at least until her mother met Ray Delaney...

It's strange how life works sometimes, honestly. Temperance had always had a great amount of compassion for Remy Delaney, maybe even a crush on him at one point in all the years they'd known each other. While she had never known him extraordinarily well before their parents got together, his optimism and shining smile helped ease her worries, all from afar. Remy seemed to have it easy, regarding social life anyway, something she always idolized. 

In her early years of school, Temperance had the exact opposite of an easy time. Her anxiety had been so bad back then, to the point the other kids had branded her weirdo and an outcast. Young Temperance's escape came at home in the form of solo Dungeons & Dragons campaigns that her mom crafted just for her as a sort of therapy to help her deal with her issues. Tempest's unorthodox treatment did, in fact, help her daughter cope. An unprecedented result of this was a deep interest in mathematics, as Temperance sought the best ways to optimize her chances of success in her mother's dungeons. 

The years have seen Temperance blossom from a reclusive exile to someone who jumps straight into the thicket of blades that await her, frequently with reckless abandon! High school has involved her in numerous events she never dreamed she'd be doing, like cheer leading, and she's shown she is willing to try anything once. Unfortunately, her general awkwardness has hindered her in making any extraordinarily close friends, but that hasn't disheartened her quite yet, especially since she's about to have a full house with her new step-father and step-siblings. There is a genuine hope that Remy and herself will become that pair of siblings that are BFFs!
