[@Legion02] [@cloudystar] Samuel smiled in gratitude towards Okami. Since he no longer needed to sell his supplies, he could instead save them for the tower. Surely a camp would come in handy in a hostile area like that. The action meant a lot, especially after all the drama that occurred mere moments ago. As they walked toward the exit portal, Samuel saw the large man who had made him feel uneasy leave before them. "Thank you very much for your consideration, Okami. In case you were wondering, my friend here is Alex. I offered to introduce him to the rest of our team. Considering half of them left... Well, no matter. Oh right, I haven't asked yet! How did your trial go? I didn't do so well but Alex was more than competent enough to compensate. But, now that I think about it... How did the officials watch us? Is that another ability the spirits possess?" Turning to Alex, Samuel responded to this unfortunate prediction. "Destiny is a funny thing. You never know how things will turn out. While it is clear he is our enemy now, I like to believe that their is just as much of a chance that we befriend him as their is a chance that we fight him. However, while self-confidence is good, their is a reason pride is a sin. I pray that boy considers his options carefully... Samuel finished talking, but his mind began to race with questions. What even was the tower? Religion said that it was created long ago by mythical beings, but for what purpose? Surely not just to house the spirits - their was more than enough room for them, so their was no need to stuff them in such a small area. The trio had just exited the portal, and it seemed like many of the shops and stalls were still around for business. A spirit that was fondling a bag of gold was calling out to no one in particular, seemingly unaware of how loud he was being. The town square was buzzing with activity and many people, from young smiling children to drunken old men, were engaging in the activities. Samuel gazed in wonder at all of them, pondering how so many people could be in one location. Gabriel chose this moment to awaken, chirping for no particular reason. The birds awakening caused Samuel to look towards the sky, making him realize how low the sun was. Did I really go an entire day without any food? Hopefully, Okami's generosity extended to free meals... Or his family accepted payment in the form of tents and wooden tent anchors... [s] [/s] *YAWN* Oh, I just had the most wonderful dream. Maidens as far as the eye could see... Wait... where am I? Oh, the area with many maidens and loud noises! I was hoping Master would have stayed here longer. I hope Master decides that we have had a long day, and deserve wine and women to wind down! ...Probably not, but it cant hurt to hope! I wonder where my harem has gone? The winged vixen could not be far. After all, I did promise to teach her how to fly! ... Maybe it was a good thing that she was not here... Wait, where is master even taking me?
