The country had suffered disastrous defeats in several wars and had been cut up by European colonial powers like a cake being divided by greedy children. To make matters worse, civil unrest erupted into open rebellion, and the average citizen found themselves trapped between colonists, imperialists, and rebels. Unfair trade and civil war ravaged the lands and many found themselves without food, nor a means to provide for themselves. Perhaps YingKai was lucky that he outlived his parents, or else he might have had to suffer the fate of being sold by them for a morsel of food. As an orphan on the streets, YingKai pulled rickshaws to survive, though the owner of the rickshaw took most of his pay. One day, as he pulled a portly English merchant and his daughter, he heard the words that changed his life forever, "Papa, I want one!" The merchant obliged his daughter and paid the rickshaw owner a meager sum for possession of YingKai, whom his daughter found 'cute, like a porcelain doll'. He was whisked away to their opulent manor in England where he was trained to be a butler and to be the merchant's daughter's companion and plaything. They even started calling him 'Charlie Chong'. He lived with the family for several years, growing close to them; they became the abusive family he never had. In particular, he developed a close, love-hate, abusive-dependent relationship with the daughter, who was several years older than him, and ever-ready to belittle him for his inadequacies: real or imagined. As she eventually became a lady, her interest in him had dwindled considerably; she was interested in men, not dolls and boys. One Christmas Eve, Charlie had been ordered by the merchant to locate his daughter somewhere in the manor. They were holding a house party and the merchant wanted her to perform the violin for their guests, but she had been missing for several hours. Charlie happened upon the daughter, alone and naked in her bed with one of the guests, a dashing young fellow, also naked. Charlie did not understand what they were doing, nor did he understand why the man flew into a fit of rage, racing to the fireplace and grabbing the poker. Charlie's life ended before he died when he saw his 'foster sister' slam the door, barring his escape. Then he was killed from blunt force trauma inflicted by his sister's secret lover. He died cowering in pain, covered in bruises, bones broken, organs bleeding, filled with bile, fear, betrayal, and rage. Since dying, Charlie has found freedom and has turned his hatred for life into mockery. Sarcastic and quick-witted, Charlie rejects authority with a passion and sees death as the great equalizer; no one is above him in death, so he doesn't have to obey or respect anybody. He has done all he could to seek knowledge, having been denied an education by fate while alive. Charlie is an eternal precocious and capricious youngster who finally has an opportunity to make himself feel bigger than he is and he will never let it go.
Greatest Love:
Butterflies
Greatest Fear:
Being another person's property
Stunning Weapon:
Antique hunting rifle
Sealing Weapon:
The poker that killed him

Hmm usually I'd say no, but Its an impressive profile and I can see that the look you are going for would be difficult to find in a non anime picture, so I'll make an exception just this once, approved.
