Her heavy backpack bounced along her back as she rushed over to the office to notify them about being late. Crystal was having a rush at her apartment when a family emergency happened with her brother, so she was already having a rough day. Even worse was when she got lost on her path to her new school. She already missed her first classes gym and shipping class. Fortunately Christopher, her brother, printed out the schedule beforehand and didn't have to get a schedule from the office. She already memorized her classes either way, so the paper schedule wasn't needed until further notice. As she ran through the mostly empty hallway, Crystal nearly crashed into a girl that was going to the same pathway as she was, even though was a lot of space she could've taken. If it wasn't for her quick reactions of side-stepping and speeding by the girl, they would've taken a hard beating to the ground. The only thing that could be seen throughout the rest of the hallway was a speeding figure of black hair, a blue flannel and matching jeans, and the shine of new black and white converse. Crystal didn't want to be late to the unofficial first class she would be taking that day, so just on time she slammed down into an empty seat with her supplies ready. Fortunately math - and just about every other class she took - was an easy task for her. The best part was that they were only taking basic notes for the day. She took this as an advantage by putting her sketchbook next to her notes that were slanted slightly on top of her binder. Whenever Crystal finished writing she would do a part of a drawing until the next slide.
