[@sharksama] I have a question. When roleplaying, how do the participants regulate who will post next? I feel idea conflicts would be an issue if there was not a predetermined order.
Well, some people have a kind of "free for all," where anyone can post at anytime. Since most of the rpers here have work or school to go to, having orders in which this person would go after this person might be hard. Especially since you don't know whether someone will come online or even post next, it could lead to days of waiting for someone who will never come on. If you really want to, you could have orders in your rp (hell, I wouldn't mind at all if I joined an rp that had specific orders). Just some of us would rather keep the story flowing and going without orders. Some people (if their rp involves big events) will wait for people who haven't gotten their character to the specific place to get to the specific place, which involves letting other rpers have their characters converse with others' characters while waiting. If you plan on doing something and want permission from the other rpers in the group, you can post your idea in the OOC chat and ask if everyone is okay with it. I mean, that's what I do when I'm unsure Not the best explanation, but I hoped this helped. >~<
