An 8-cylinder engine is bigger than a 4-cylinder engine, but that doesn't make it slower; that makes it faster. Putting an 8-cylinder engine in a car that can't use it might make it slower, though. And 8-cylinder engines are greater fuel hogs than 4-cylinder engines, so it has greater fuel requirements. The only reason a muscular orc would be slower than a less-muscular human would be if he didn't eat enough.
