Reborn has PULSE Pokemon, it's like a really twisted version of Mega Evolution. The bad guys basically turn Pokemon into weapons of mass destruction that way. Yeah, it's pretty dark. Heckno12 says he got a lot of inspiration for this RP from that game.

Also, there are field effects. For example, Grass-type moves work better in a forest, and being in a factory boosts certain Electric and Steel attacks.
