At work, we actually had to recently sit through a 3-hour presentation on cultural diversity.
It was informative, but a little spooky how this just came up a day after the meeting. x_x

EDIT: Now I feel bad for not giving Gorman a chance. ._.
I'm guessing it was kinda his mission to recruit Kaite.

EDIT2: I haven't given up on Gorman and that arc, I'm just trying to think of a way to move things along while staying true to my character and respecting a distinct lack of metagaming. Its...pretty rough, expecially being distracted with preparations for hosting [b][OBLIGATORY YEAR-END HOLIDAY][/b] at my place. The cleaning and pre-cooking...bleh.
