[b]Lightsaber Form:[/b] As a Jedi, Arken is proficient in the Order's most basic style of combat, Shii-Cho. Deciding, like many, that its simplicity and inefficiency in the face of other lightsaber made it unsuitable, the Echani was quick to branch out. The fast paced, acrobatic offenses of Ataru called heavily to the young Padawan just beginning her path. Thus, Form IV is Arken's first and only major focus. She is very adept in using its overwhelming offensive combos and impressive acts of agility to whittle down defense in the heat of combat , whilst deftly avoiding or parrying opposing moves. As an Echani, she takes full advantage of its capacity for incorporating unarmed strikes, often employing her people's native art whilst her opponent's focus is primarily in her saber. As she is quite intimate with the style, she understands its weakness in the fields of defense. She has begun incorporating elements from the defensive variant of Form V, Shien, to great effect. 

[b]Other Skills:[/b] The innate abilities of her species are not lost on Arken. The ability to read subtle queues in body language among her peers and foes alike both provide insight into emotions hidden away, as well as motions yet to be taken. In tandem with the strong precognitive abilities of a fully trained Jedi, this trait allows her to predict the moves of her foes with a fair degree of accuracy and react accordingly, enhancing her dueling skill. As Ataru is a very physically taxing form of combat, she is particularly adept in the usage of Force valor. Having learned the basics of her people's unarmed combat as a young girl prior to her discovery, Arken pursued mastery of this art by way of study among the freshly indoctrinated of the Order, whom had studied under the Handmaiden herself following its reconstruction. She considers herself an expert of the art.
