Outside the entrance are student planted flower beds. During lunch hours, several students enjoy socializing out in the open air. Benches and fountains line the quad, perfect for a multitude of activities. Students are to take note that the faculty building is easily accessible from the Main Building and any questions for the staff should be taken there. The ground floor is where students will find their shoe lockers and the school stores. Anything a student needs, be it supplies or a quick snack can be found at the store. The ground floor is also where students will find a cafeteria for the purchasing of meals. While students can eat inside the cafeteria, enjoying a meal with friends in the classroom or out on the quad is highly encouraged. Classrooms can be found on floors two through four with each floor housing a year, first years call the second floor their home, and so on. Located behind the Main Building and stretching to the woods just outside of school property, the grounds are gateway to the rest of the school. From the grounds students can head to the dorms, the the sports fields, and find club buildings for clubs that can't operate within the confines of the main hall. The large building serves as both an auditorium (for school plays or performances from the music clubs and for a large variety of events during cultural festival period) and an indoor gymnasium. The gymnasium contains an indoor pool for aquatic sports and is off limits unless for sports purposes. Students are allowed free use of the gym unless a club has it reserved or there is a sporting event going on. The auditorium is free for all until the drama club begins rehearsals for their seasonal plays. Other club buildings found on the grounds include the music room (to the left of the auditorium), the library and its literature club (to the right of the auditorium) and sports clubs (located near the sports fields,) [img]http://i62.tinypic.com/2gtuhk0.png[/img] The Dorms are where the students of Saint Lilium will live. Located a short walk away from the grounds, the dorms provide a perfect view of the forest beyond school grounds as well as the pond. (Please note that students are not allowed to swim in the pond.) Dorm rooms are shared by two students. Students are allowed to swap rooms for one week after a quarter has started but all room changes must be approved by the dormitory staff. Rooms can be decorated with posters and photos but nothing is to be rearranged. The dorms have been designed with comfortable living space in mind. Beds are spaced apart so as to allow free movement, and each student has shelf space for studies or for housing learning materials. Food and drink is not permitted in the dorms. Students are allowed one (1) television per room but it must be turned off at lights out and the volume must be so that the room next door does not hear. Cell phones are allowed. There is a large public bath as well as shower stalls. Fresh towels and linens are on site to use but must be returned to the bath house staff. Please respect all proper bath house ettiquete and no rough housing. Students who violate the bath house rules may not be permitted to use the bath house for the rest of the school year until further notice. There is a storage shed nearby for net games such as tennis, football (soccer), and others. Use of the sports field is free for students unless there is a sporting event or a club has the field reserved. The field closes at lights out. Before you enroll, here are the rules to be followed as a St. Lilium student. Each rule was drafted by the student run disciplinary committee and approved by the student council and staff. [hider=School Rules] 1: Classes are to be attended regularly. Failure to attend a number of classes will result in disciplinary action and potential expulsion. 2. There will be no smoking or drinking on school property. Any student caught in violation of this rule will be immediately expelled. 3. Lights out is at 11 P.M. daily, extended to 1 A.M. on weekends. Students are to be in their dorms when lights out occurs or risk disciplinary action. 4. Students are warned to stay out of the forest behind the school. It is not school property and the school is not accountable for what happens outside of its property. 5. Students are not allowed to bring students from other schools into the dorms. 6. Uniforms are to be worn during school hours. 7. Though there is a pond on campus, students are not allowed to swim in it. 8. Students are free to leave school grounds after school hours but must be back before lights out.. 9. Joining a club is not mandatory but it is highly encouraged. 10. She loves her daughter very much and wants to see her succeed, proving the teachers of St. Lilium wrong about Tohru being nothing but trash. One, she was attracted to women, and two, she's always wanted to be a mother. Kagome grew up in Osaka to a rather wealthy family. Her father was at one time advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan, and her mother was a school teacher turned stay at home wife. For the remainder of her life, she was home schooled, until her family moved to Tokyo and she began attending school regularly. She wanted to be a teacher when she grew up, just like her mother, but more than most, she dreamed of having a lovely family of her own someday, a beautiful wife and daughter. After graduating, she started work as a literature teacher at Saint Lilium's Academy for Young Women. The headmistress at the time was very stern and more or less, in Kagome's opinion...kind of a bitch. Nevertheless, she enjoyed teaching and eventually she fell in love with another teacher at the school, math teacher Junko Mamiya. Junko and Kagome were together for three years when Kagome decided she wanted to have a child. They considered artificial insenination, but...tragedy struck. Kagome ended up having a miscarriage by her third trimester. She was going to have a girl... The death of her beautiful daughter drove her into a deep depression for almost a year. She never ate nor slept. She was sick all the time too, which took a toll on her job. Not only that, but she discovered soon her girlfriend was cheating on her with another woman. Her life, the perfect family she wanted, it was all crumbling to pieces around her. The woman eventually decided...to take her own life. Twas either a miracle or a cruel twist of fate, but somehow a teacher found her face down on her desk in her office clutchig a bottle of pills. She was barely alive when the doctors rushed her to the ER, but they saved her life. She was diagnosed with clinical depression and spent weeks in therapy. After making a recovery, she managed to get her job back at Saint Lilium, despite protest from the headmistress. Her dreams of a family were dashed, but she still wanted to be a teacher. Years went on and she worked her way through, eventually earning the title of headmistress herself. It was one of her greatest achievements ever, but sadly there was no one to share the glory with. Then, one day as she was taking the train to work, a scraggly young girl snatched her purse and took off running. Serizawa gave chase, and soon, so did the police. Right as Kagome saw the girl, she knew she was homeless. Kagome took pity on the poor child. The police were treating her like they would any other delinquint. This angered her. She stepped in, ordering them to leave her alone. Eventually, she found out the girl's name was Tohru Itagaki. She had no known relatives, other than an estranged father who made no efforts at all to claim the child, and her grandmother who passed away not long after Tohru ran from home. Kagome decided she would adopt the girl rather than have the police arrest her. Per her requirements, the girl was to attend school regularly at Saint Lilium. Tohru hated it, but it was either that or be sent to jail. Kagome will admit, this isn't what she expected her first child to be, but she loves Tohru no less and does everything she can to be a good mother for her, even putting up with Tohru's brash and rebellious behavior.
