Alex left his room. He and Claudia had come back to the house and were watching tv in his room. He had to ask Garrett a question about Samuel's wolves. He went into the shed like building out back that Garrett had taken over. He had turned it into his own little art studio of sorts. He had miscellaneous projects going on in there. He heard yelling and something hit the floor as he opened the door. Grant was standing there smiling in victory and Alex saw Garrett's body lying on the floor, blood soaking into the floorboards and Garrett's head about 3 or 4 feet from the body. 

[color=007236]"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"[/color] Alex yelled. Alex sped towards the younger and weaker vampire and he ripped his head off and threw it out into the yard. Tears sliding down the vampire's face he dialed Lucinda. 
[color=007236]"Lucinda, Grant killed Garrett. I walked in just after it happened and I killed Grant. It's in the art studio."[/color]

Alex leaned against the doorway and waited for Lucinda. He hadn't realized she was in the house. She was standing next to him in a second or two.

Lucinda looked at him and said through her tears.[color=ed1c24] "Go get Tabby."[/color] Alex took off to get Tabitha at the bar.
