[color=6ecff6][indent] Rika likes to think she’s as cool as her powers would suggest. Opting to smooth talk her way out of situations rather than fight, she’s laid back, lazy, and overall chill. Considering her special abilities, there is a great deal of irony here and one would think her mind would run a mile a minute. Calm as the snow, but sharp as ice when need be; evidently, this means she doesn’t get along too well with hot-heads or people who talk way too damn fast. More irony.

She has, admittedly, a bit of a hero complex and that stems directly from her powers. Although it always miffs her when she’s not the one to save the day, she’ll quickly get over it with just a quick jibe to herself that she wasn’t fast enough. Speed is something she values greatly and the desire to get faster is always a mental obstruct for her to overcome. Just as soon as she stops being lazy and actually put some effort in that regard.

[color=6ecff6][indent]Rika’s magic is of the innate kind and it allows her to move faster than normal humans, so much so that she is classified as a Speedster. As such, dodging incoming objects to her face is a breeze with a simple step to the left. She can run incredible distances in the blink of an eye but it also striving to break her own personal records.

Even so, speed is her only real factor in a fight. With no experience in actual hand-to-hand combat, she’s more reliant on overwhelming her foes through sheer speed or attacking at many angles. Besides, one can’t take down what they can’t even hit, right? Furthermore, with speed comes a slight buff to her strength as well, but compared to her speed it’s nothing that much noteworthy.[/indent][/color]

[color=fff79a][u][sub] ♢ [b]H I S T O R Y[/b] ♢[/sub][/u][/color]

[color=6ecff6][indent]Rika’s upbringing was nothing short of boring and lethargic. Her parents were slow, her siblings were slow…really, everyone in her life seemed to be stuck in traffic or something. She was always the one with her head in the clouds, anxious and uncertain about the days to come. At some point though her family’s chilled nature began to affect her but a laxed demeanor in a speedy body only breeds a more interesting result.

A conflict of nature, Rika would realize her own innate magic through an exercise meant to cater to her fast lifestyle; running. So run she did, getting faster and faster until she was to the point where she was outspeeding not only everyone in her family, but really…well, everyone else. Thus there was no doubt in her mind that this was why she was invited to Acadia Academy.

What followed as a fun first year of goofing off, racing anyone who would agree to it, and really just chilling through both studies and other necessities. Miraculously she made it to her second year at the school and not much has changed from her younger self. She likes to think she’s matured just a little bit from her time at the Double AA. Just a little though; never too much.

[color=6ecff6][indent]There’s not much to say about Rika’s family other than that they approved of her attending Acadia Academy. They’re quite supportive of whatever she sets her mind too, but they will warn her of the reckless danger that can come about with such thinking. As any good family should. With a mother and father, she is the youngest and only female out of a batch of three other siblings. [/indent][/color]

[color=6ecff6][indent]She’s very affectionate in giving herself nicknames, some of which include, “Speed Demon”, “Blue Blur”, and “Scarf Hero Zero”. She also likes to refer to the Academy as the “AA” or “Double A” for short and precise delivery. Quick and speedy is always the case with Rika, reflected in her eating habits of fast, microwavable meals. Obviously not the best choice in a healthy diet but her quick metabolism can’t really tell the difference.[/indent][/color]
