Interesting indeed. 

A long long time ago took part in something similar, a post apocalyptic zombie world with only a few very few settlements dotted around that each depend upon each other for various supplies - the RP focused mostly on the people and the government, different factions that kinda thing. 

I'll probably take part, but I have but one question....
What kinda zombie lore do you like? What would you be going with?

Shamblers? Fast neo-zombs? Rage virus style? Resident evil mutating nasty zombies?  I'm a fan of the Max Brooks 'purist' style of zombies... the solanum virus!(What I'd consider classic zombs) Anyway...
