[@Dulcet] Thank you! And yes, I intended for there to be a little of time before the expedition began for a little intrigue, character building, things of that nature. It's still an idea, but if the characters are right or certain things happen, it will also be a question of whether the expedition ever sets out in the first place. The government, while becoming slg increasingly divided and such, still, however, isn't ruled by any one specific party, and as such, the group formed to choose the unlucky draftees is bipartisan, meaning they will most likely choose to send the loudest or most influential voices of their opponents. This means, at least in my mind, that the draftees could be made up of some of the most vocal and divisive people of each respective faction, whether that be solely the Purists and Curists, or any others I choose to introduce. I think I'll rephrase it so that it seems less like they announced the expedition solely for flushing out opponents, and more that it's a normal thing, but this time they choose to use it for a different purpose. [@Claw2k11] Also an addition to before, if you play an outsider character, they would probably be fairly well known, since outsiders are a rarity. So I don't want everyone to be a mysterious outsider with a dark past or some shit, but those few are going to be known by quite a few people.
